Meet Fabrizio De Rossi! Originally from Austria with Italian heritage, Fabrizio's academic journey began with Paleobiology. He then ventured into roles as an information guide and zookeeper, specializing in reptiles and amphibians. Eventually, he circled back to his true passion: past life and creature design. As a self-taught 2D and 3D artist, Fabrizio focuses on reconstructing Mesozoic animals in three dimensions, utilizing techniques like 3D printing and animation.

During his tenure as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Vienna’s Paleobiology department, Fabrizio undertook a significant project: the life reconstruction of the Austrian nodosaurid ankylosaur, Struthiosaurus austriacus. This endeavor remains close to his heart and ignited a profound fascination with ankylosaurs and thyreophorans in general.

Today, Fabrizio is a valued member of our team, contributing his expertise as one of our resident 3D modelers. We eagerly anticipate his continued creation of captivating content and lifelike animal reconstructions.
